For newborn babies, in the first three months of life, water can provide a sensitive transition from womb to world. First baths can be the perfect place to heal from birth, a place to feel safe and calm, in your loving arms. In this period of adjustment, as new parents it is the perfect time to take things a little slower and view bath times not just as "wash time" but also as a special "sensory discovery" time for both of you.
