Aqua Sensory in Practice

This course is supported by a full-colour 50-page study guide, parent videos and downloads to share. Once completed you will become Aqua Sensory: Sensory Aware. You will have an understanding of the benefits of the Aqua Sensory program and how to implement the ethos and transform your classes. You will understand a whole child developmental approach, why sensory-based learning is important, how to support sensory development and how to provide the best nurturing environments.

Aqua Sensory BABY creates new connections by providing sensory discovery play in the water, in the right way, at the right time. Enjoy learning about sensory preferences, supporting babies’ unique and developing personalities and how we can model and support our babies’ sensory worlds. Aqua Sensory Toddler

Our little people are not always understood, they have B-I-G feelings in the pool or sometimes ping pong with their progression. Our Aqua Sensory Toddler program crosses all the brain domains. A whole child approach in every way.


  • Module 1: Toddler development and the important implications to swimming.

  • Module 2: Enjoy our activities that cross all the brain domains: social-emotional, communication and language, cognitive and physical

The thing I look forward to taking back to my lessons is the confidence and knowledge that I can pass on to the parents, the realisation that I do not have to fit the amount of activities into a lesson and to be mindful of the wait, watch and wonder.

How long does the Aqua Sensory Program take to complete?

How long you take to self-study is up to you! There are so many videos, downloads, masterclasses, research links at your fingertips. Set aside a week to study or dip in and out and study around your schedule- the choice is yours. The content is yours, you are a lifelong learner with Aqua Sensory.

Is there an official assessment at the end of the course?

There is no official assessment, however we do have a check in with you to support your needs.
