Come and train with us.

At the Royal Leamington Spa International Aquatics Centre.

We hold our UK Aqua Sensory workshops in our purpose-built family swim centre, which is built to the highest standards and with great attention to detail. The whole sensory environment and swimmer journey has been taken into consideration, not just in, but out of the pool too.

Our land-based training takes place upstairs, in our purpose-built conference centre.

A day of sensory education!

Tribe Meet-up: Sunday 9th February 2020

What do we cover in our One-Day Workshops?

WHAT is Aqua Sensory?

We take you through our teaching ethos, so you can walk away and apply it how you wish to your classes. Watch retention rates rise as you become more attuned to your classes and introduce this new teaching approach.

We go through our foundation stones: parent focus, movement and discovery play –with supporting visuals, fact sheets, videos and discussions to enhance your knowledge.

We talk about –YOU! What you can do as a teacher to become more attuned in the pool, to look at the finer details and how you can support your sensory children.

WHY does your swim classes need to sensory aware?

This is a fun interactive session –wait to be awakened!

We take you through this child-led approach, how to see your pool and the whole environment from the child’s eye.

Wake up to –The Art of Observation!

HOW do you introduce sensory activities in the pool?

We show you how to incorporate sensory activities into your existing classes or run stand-alone sensory classes, at the right developmental stage and appropriate level.

You will learn all about the senses and our Aqua Sensory layers.

Our workshops are always fun and interactive, you will also receive lots of fact sheets full of information to take away.

Sensory ideas for your swim school: Music, Massage, Movement, Singing and Signing. Why and how to bring them into the pool.

We will show you how your pool can become an aquatic classroom, to support the early years in the water.

How to adapt your lessons to give you sensory knowledge, so all your children and parents are comfortable and supported in the pool.

Students will receive a certificate of attendance, an Aqua Sensory CPD Point and Aqua Sensory Course hand-outs.

The course is Swimming Teachers Association (STA) accredited and CPD points are also available.
